Mattia Ramberti is born in Rome and based in Milan. He began working in television before joining Vice Media as an in-house writer/director, where he contributed to campaigns for major international brands including Levi's and Fiat. In 2021, he launched his independent directing career, debuting with a film for Seiko which grabbed attention worldwide in advertising festivals, with awards like Best Portrait Film at Berlin Commercial and inclusion in the 1.4 New Directors Showcase.

Since then Mattia has worked in Italy and Europe on many productions: from feature documentary films to commercials and branded content.

2025 marked a significant year with 2 of his films reaching wider audiences: Beat – A Film About Jazz was acquired by Prime Video, while Ambra – One Meter from the Finishing Line received a theatrical release, ranking first in Italy by attendance and third by box office on its opening day.

His current projects include The Jazz Way of Life, a non-fiction film exploring Jazz as a way of living, supported by the prestigious MiBAC - Ministero della Cultura. His projects also include Ettore Sottsass - The Poetry of Things, currently in development and selected for the MIA Market 2025.
